After her sister was diagnosed with melanoma at age 30, Eco Tan founder Sonya Driver dedicated herself to finding safe alternatives that guaranteed natural tans, without sun exposure. There were no natural, non-toxic self-tanning products on the market at the time, and all the products available were not recommended for her sister, who was fighting cancer at the time. It was at that moment that EcoTan by Sonya was born, a certified brand of natural, organic, safe and non-toxic self-tanning products.
